Cookie Policy
Last updated:
A cookie is a small text file that a website saves on your device. Similar technologies include local storage and session storage. This page explains how Root to Rise Coaching uses these technologies on roottorisecoaching.ca.
1. What we currently use
The site does not run third-party advertising, marketing, or analytics trackers. We only use a very small amount of strictly necessary local storage to keep the site working as you expect.
| Name | Type | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|
quiz-invite-dismissed | Local storage | Remembers that you closed the reflection-questionnaire invite so it does not reappear on every page load. | 30 days |
| Cloudflare security | Cookie | Our hosting provider may set a strictly necessary cookie to detect bots and protect the site from abuse. | Up to 30 days |
2. What we do not use
- No advertising or remarketing trackers.
- No cross-site profiling or fingerprinting beacons.
- No third-party analytics scripts (such as Google Analytics).
- No social media share-trackers embedded on pages.
3. If we ever add analytics or marketing cookies
We will update this page first, list each new cookie or tracker, and add a consent control before any non-essential cookie is set. Until that happens you can browse the site without being asked for cookie consent because the only storage we use is strictly necessary for site features.
4. Managing cookies in your browser
You can clear local storage and cookies for this site through your browser settings. Doing so may reset preferences such as the dismissed-modal flag.
5. Stripe checkout and other linked services
When you click a "Buy" button, you are taken to Stripe’s payment site, which has its own cookie practices described in the Stripe cookie settings and Stripe privacy policy.
For questions about this policy, see our Privacy Policy or contact us through the contact page.
